Joan Saunders, Principal and Founder, OT Reg. (Ont.)

Joan founded JS Occupational Therapy in 2007 with a vision to provide quality Occupational Therapy services in a fully supported and dynamic environment. With more than 24 years’ experience working in the insurance, disability and government sectors as an Occupational Therapist, Joan specializes in catastrophic medical legal cases, as well as in Future Cost of Care and Home Modification Assessments. She is C-CAT Functional Observer certified.

Montana Mullane, OT/Operations Manager, B.Sc. Kin, MSc. OT, OT Reg. (Ont.)

Montana graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy after receiving her Honors Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. Montana joined JS Occupational Therapy in 2017. She has experience in the assessment and treatment of adults and children with mental illness, cognitive impairments, chronic diseases, orthopedic and soft tissue injuries. Montana is C-CAT Functional Observer certified, certified to perform Functional Abilities Evaluations and also specializes in assessments of cognitive function.

Carrie Ann Reid, Office Administrator

Carrie Ann joined JS Occupational Therapy in 2021 and she has over 20 years’ of valuable experience working in the Independent Medical Evaluations industry as Senior Intake Coordinator. Her other skill sets include an extensive knowledge of the Ontario SABs as well as an accounting and administrative background that have proven to be a great asset to the team at JS Occupational Therapy.

Fadi Hamamji, Office Administrator

Fadi joined JS Occupational Therapy in 2021. He brings with him an Economics Degree and an MBA as well as a diverse work experience in developing and growing businesses. Fadi’s ambition, curiosity and planning skills make him a great fit to our growing team at JS Occupational Therapy.

Yasamin Asbaghi, Occupational Therapist, B.Sc., M.Sc. (Biochemistry and Medical Genetics), M.Sc. OT, OT Reg. (Ont.)

Yasamin graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Manitoba. She joined JS Occupational Therapy in 2024. Her experience includes working with individuals with traumatic brain injuries, mental illness, chronic diseases, orthopedic and soft tissue injuries. Currently her work involves the assessment and rehabilitation of individual’s physical and cognitive skills.

Klaudia Lacina, BSc. Hons. OT; OT Reg. (Ont); HCPC Reg (UK)

Klaudia completed her Honors Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy at Northumbria University (Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK). She became a licensed Occupational Therapist in 2017 and has since worked in the UK, Trinidad and Tobago, Bermuda and Canada. Her experience includes working with individuals across the life span, including the pediatric population. She is experienced in the areas of mental health conditions, addictions, dementia, intellectual/developmental issues, neurodiversity, neurological conditions, chronic diseases, orthopedic and soft tissue injuries. She joined JSOT in 2025 and her current work involves the assessment and rehabilitation of individual’s physical, cognitive and emotional abilities while completing Independent In-Home and Community Assessments and intervention. She is currently pursuing a master of science degree in advancing practice sensory integration at the Ulster University (Belfast, UK).
